EHBA Hurricanes – Elite Hoops Team Program
About our Program
Elite Hoops Hurricanes is a girls’ basketball program built on development, confidence, and team culture. Our teams focus on teaching the game the right way—prioritizing fundamentals, decision-making, and basketball IQ while creating an environment where players are challenged, supported, and encouraged to grow.
We believe long-term development matters more than short-term results. Practices are structured, intentional, and designed to help players improve their skills while learning how to play as part of a team. Competition is used as a tool for growth, with an emphasis on effort, accountability, and resilience.
At Elite Hoops, we coach to build confident, resilient young athletes through basketball—not just to win games. Our goal is to help players develop a strong foundation, a love for the game, and the confidence to take the next step in their basketball journey.
Why the Hurricanes?
The Hurricanes Are Built On:
Development First – Skill growth, basketball IQ, and confidence come before results.
Effort & Accountability – Players are challenged to work hard and take responsibility for their growth.
Team Culture – We teach players how to be great teammates on and off the court.
Confidence Through Preparation – Players gain confidence by learning the game and being put in positions to succeed.
Resilience – We help athletes learn how to respond to adversity and keep improving.

Tournaments & What to Expect
Elite Hoops Hurricanes participates in local, grassroots tournaments that are carefully selected to match appropriate competition levels for each team. Our goal is to provide meaningful game experiences that support development and confidence, not just to fill a schedule.
Tournament weekends typically include two games on Saturday and one to two games on Sunday, depending on the event format. We also participate in one-day tournaments when available and offer flexibility in scheduling to help support families and multi-sport athletes.
Most tournaments are located within a 30–75 minute drive from the South Jersey area, allowing players to compete at a high level while minimizing excessive travel demands.
